I did a lot of research before choosing GB Surfacing.I checked reviews I checked with companies House to see where the registered office was.I also contacted Tarmac suppliers.I got 3 quotes two of the firms I got quotes from were members of checkatrade which I also liked.Gary came to measure and quote I wanted Red tarmac.The quote was emailed to me it summarised the work to be done and the possibility of additional charges.The quote was concise and professional .All 3 quotes came back and surprisingly there was a £12.000 difference between the three.The work was completed within 3 weeks of th

GB Surfacing were great to work with. Firstly, they turned up with agreed to quote. provided clear written quotes via email and set fair prices. From the start to the end they communicated well, always letting me know when they would be on site and checked with questions at each stage of the project I was really pleased with each phase of my garden and driveway. It was a really large project that evolved over time and they always listened to my feedback and came up with solutions and were clear with cost changes. The quality of the finished work was great. Block paving renovation

GB Surfacing restored a small area of block paving which had subsided in places. Communication was good, the work was done on time and more importantly to a high standard. We were very pleased with the work done and would have no hesitation in using them again

Happy with our new Amalfi Block Paving Drive

The job started while we were away and most of the work was nearly completed when we arrived back home. There was a miscommunicated/misunderstanding with one area of the job, however this was sorted immediately with no issues. The lads on the job worked really hard throughout and the job was completed at a very high standard. We are over the moon and very proud of our new drive – Amalfi Block Paving Drive. Everyone who passed our house have all said how nice our drive looked. We would definitely highly recommend this company.

Great service from first to last visit.

GB Surfacing dug out and relaid our old drive and front garden area creating parking for a camper and 2 cars. We opted for Rustic pavers as a border and black tarmac infill which looks gorgeous. Can’t recommend Gary’s team highly enough, from first quote visit to the final knock on the door every thing was punctual and professionally finished. Always kept in the loop by Karen in the office too. Again, this company is great to use and absolutely recommended.

Such a fabulous team 2 deal with from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. The workmanship is brilliant, lads friendly & hardworking & where we got the new paving slabs from are a quality slabs… on Karen’s recommendation. We’ve used Gary & Karen before this is why we came back… faultless.

New drive

Everything they were going to do was explained to me before they did it. As I am disabled they wanted to make sure I would be safe getting up and down the new step and they offered advice about it. I’m very pleased with all the work they have done. The workmen were extremely helpful and pleasant. The company was recommended to me by a friend and I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent from quote to completion. It was easy to arrange a quote and Gary came to see us twice to discuss the work. The patio looks lovely and it has all been finished off to a very high standard. This is the second time we have used this company and we would not hesitate to recommend.
